About the OES-L
The OES-L was created in 1995 with resources provided at no cost from the L-Soft corporation in exchange for beta testing their site. They place a few restriction on it use:
The resources for message database and this web site are donated by a fellow sheepdog lover. The list is moderated by a few volunteers that will occasionally step in and ask that a conversation end or move in another direction or topic.
Every new member is placed on moderation initially until they make a couple of post over a period of time. All of the messages are stored in a database that can be searched and read in a browser.
